Cookies
This site sets no cookies for ordinary visitors. The visitor counter identifies repeat visits within a day using a salted one-way hash of your IP address and browser user-agent string. The raw IP address is never stored, the hash cannot be reversed without a secret held on the server, and the records are deleted after two days.
A PHPSESSID session cookie is set only when signing in to the private
admin area. That cookie is strictly necessary for authentication and is not used
for analytics or advertising.
Server log files
The hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user-agent). This is required to operate and secure the service and is based on a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Third-party services
Google AdSense
This site loads Google AdSense. When advertising is active, Google may set cookies or read device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where consent is required, it is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising cookie is set. Google's own privacy information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Content delivery networks
Stylesheets, fonts, scripts and photographs are loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net and images.unsplash.com / plus.unsplash.com. Your browser contacts those providers directly and they receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering the file.
